Process Description
Crude contains H2S and mercaptans, which required to be removed, before next unit operation by stripping gas. The H2S and mercaptans level required after processing are in the tune of less than 25 ppm. The structured packing is used as column internal for stripper. The basic design consideration is to estimate stripping gas required for H2S and mercaptan removal.
Operating Conditions
• Operating pressure : Atmospheric
• Crude inlet temperature : 55-60 0 C
• Gas inlet temperature : 40-50 0 C
• Column Internals : 2.5L
